ABOUT ME

Gabriela Kaszycka is graduate of the Film Studies at the Jagiellonian University and Academy of Photography in Cracow. She looks at spaces and objects combining personal stories with documentary form. Careful and unhurried observation is important in her work. Photography is not a simple reflection of reality, but rather its transformation and interpretation. It refers more to the imagination than to visual perception. Gabriela Kaszycka has exhibited in Poland, France and Suisse. She is one of the laureates SFR Jeunes Talents 2013 - Paris Photo.
